Writing Updates for September 2015: Crafting a zombie apocalypse.

Hello! First and foremost, Enter The Vortex Vol. 3: Surreal Tales of Horror and Fantasy is releasing on September 15, 2015 exclusively on Amazon.com. You can purchase the book for $2.99 or read it for free using your Kindle Unlimited subscription. Regardless of your preferred method, thank you for the support. If you're a fan of the series, this new installment will not disappoint.

With the shameless plug out of the way, let's get down to business. So, what's next? As I mentioned in last month's Writing Updates, I have been working on a book tentatively titled Project: 10D. (Don't worry, I already know the real title and it's more traditional.) The book is progressing very well and it's nearing the final stages. With that said, this book is about zombies. Actually, it is an anthology about a zombie apocalypse.

Project: 10D reads like a traditional horror anthology. There will be ten stories. Each story will feature unique settings, characters, and themes. However, all of the stories will interconnect to tell one grand tale. As you read the book, from beginning to end, you'll see how the world changes over time. You'll experience the zombie apocalypse from its inception to its very end — which might surprise a few people. I felt this was a more unique approach. It gives the anthology format a more novel-like vibe.

Aside from preparing for Enter The Vortex Vol. 3's imminent release and editing Project: 10D, I am currently working on a slew of projects for the rest of the year, including another installment in my favorite series and a new standalone book. I've been trying to be more transparent on what I'm working on, so I also restructured the My Books page. I have added a Coming Soon section, which will feature all of the books I am currently working on. Take a peek and you'll see what's over the horizon. If not, stay tuned for more frequent Writing Updates on this blog.

Anyway, thank you for reading. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post and thank you for reading my books. Your support is truly invaluable. I can't thank you enough. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me via email, the comment section, or on Twitter.

Until our next venture into horror,
