Failed But Unforgotten Concepts: Underwearwolf (Tales From Under The Bed)

This is a new segment I was hinting at last month - Failed But Unforgotten Concepts. Basically, I'll be sharing concepts I had been working on for certain books, but unfortunately never came to fruition. This week, I'm sharing a short story concept I called Underwearwolf, which was planned for Tales From Under The Bed Vol. 3. Check it out!
So, the story was about an unnamed teenager. An introverted teenager who was constantly being bullied. One day, he was bullied so bad, he had urinated in his pants. Fortunately, his classmates had not noticed yet. Unfortunately, he urinated his pants. So, he swiftly dips and dodges the teachers and hops the school fence. On his way home, he also dodges the authorities, and the other teens who happen to be ditching that day.

As he rushes home, he stumbles upon a bloodied alley. There bits and pieces of what he could only guess was a person who was shredded into, well, bits and pieces. In the heap of guts and limbs, he miraculously spots a fresh pair of underwear. He has been gagging at the gory sight, on the verge of vomiting, but he needs that underwear. So, after some hesitation, he grabs the piece of clothing and changes his underwear behind a dumpster.

He sneaks back into school and tries to tell people about the massacre he found, of course forgetting to tell them about the underwear. Except for his only close friend, his classmates ignore him and bully him some more, as expected. Even worse, the teachers had realized he ditched and punished him. This kid has no luck. At home, he sits in disappointment after being scolded by his mother. His friend calls him and tells him some shocking news: the alley was normal.

Night approaches, the teen dozes in and out of consciousness as he thinks about the bloody alley and his underwear. The underwear! Well, he was already comfortable, so he figured he'd change them in the morning. He stares out his bedroom window as he laid in bed, staring at the unusually attractive full-moon.

The next morning, he wakes up, yawning and stretching. He feels unusually sore. When he looks down at his body, he finds himself covered in blood and loose hair!

That's as far as I got in the conceptualizing phase, unfortunately. The story was supposed to be a blend of horror and humor, but, let's face it, I'm not a funny person. I pulled the plug on this one early in the development of Tales From Under The Bed Vol. 3, but it's a story I want to write when I get better. When my writing skills improve, I think I'll be up for the challenge.

Anyway, what did you think about this concept? Any good? Would you like to see me write this story or a story like this? Leave a comment below or tweet me @Jonny_Athan! Thanks for reading!
