The complete first draft for Tales From Under The Bed Vol. 2 was completed this past Friday. I've been formatting and editing nonstop to get this book out as soon as possible. Don't worry, this isn't a rushed job or anything like that, I'm just really anxious to share this new body of work! Anyway, I thought I'd share this quick update. Really, you don't have to read any further if you read the title, but... why not, right?
You're still reading, right? Okay, so, Tales From Under The Bed Vol. 2: A Collection of Scarier Short Stories is releasing very soon. In fact, if all goes well, this new book should be releasing in ten days! That's right, the next installment of my horror anthology series should be releasing on November 19th, 2014. (Of course, if anything goes wrong, it might not.)
Let's get to some statistics now. The book features 12 short stories. The longest story in the book is nearly 4000 words, which is the most I've ever written for any story. The total word count for the book is over 32000! That's more than two times larger than the first book. Don't worry, either, I'm making sure I cut out as much fat and filler as possible. The stories are longer and, by rule, much more frightening. (Okay, you'll decide on that, but they really are scary!)
In a couple of days, I'll show off the book cover and I'll release the titles for the short stories. You should definitely come back for that.
