Writing Updates for March 2015!

Hello! Long time, no see! I know there's been a lack of updates lately, but I'm still here. I figured I should share some details on my current projects. Tales From Under The Bed Vol. 4 successfully launched on March 4th, 2015. That's the final chapter of the Tales From Under The Bed series. So... what's next?

Currently, I'm in the process of editing my new book. The book is codenamed, RNV1. Why a codename? Well, the book won't release until April, so I don't want to reveal the title until it's set in stone. RNV1 is the abbreviation of the title. This new book will be the first installment in a new horror anthology series I am writing. In a sense, it'll be similar to Tales From Under The Bed, but a little grander and more versatile.

The first volume of this series will feature five short scary stories. Although I don't want to spoil the stories, I can tell you the book features zombies, ghosts, mutants, and more. The stories won't be secluded in a single home or room, either. For example, one story will be set in a subway train. It's more experimental than my previous work, but it's still horror. I hope the passion I felt while writing resonates with you.

While I currently edit and proofread RNV1, I'm already planning RNV2 – the second installment in the series. I'm writing thorough outlines to simplify the writing process. This, in turn, will make me more efficient. In fact, using thorough outlines in my last two books, I've been able to write better than ever before. The stories are more effective and thought-out, and it shows. I'm learning quite a bit from this project. Anyway, RNV2 will feature more ghosts, zombies, vampires, technology horror, and more. It's planned to be twice the size of RNV1 – that's ten stories.

Finally, thanks for all of the support. I hope you're enjoy my writing and I hope I can continue to entertain you. As my reader, you are invaluable. You are incredibly significant in my writing and to my growth. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Until our next venture into horror,
Jon Athan
